Portland, Oregon

My trip to Portland was a fun one, way better than I could imagine it to be; full of life and art. I finally got around to looking at the images that I actually shot other than the wedding itself. My cousins and I went to the Portland Market and of course I loaded up on hand made jewelry and organic hand painted hand towels. The Portland Gay Pride Parade was in full bloom and some interesting folks crossed my path.

I choose those words in the sense that after putting the next set of images together, I came to notice from an outside perspective how I was feeling this afternoon. I shot a few frames while I spent some outdoor time with my son Sal .

I feel change coming soon, good change.

I love it when things are so not planned to happen! We went over to Kyle's aunts house where his cousin Sandy and her daughter little Helen, 2 years old happened to be there for the day so I took the time to set Helen aside and snap a few shots of her.  The last time I had seen of her was at Christmas and so she totally had grown!  I couldn't get enough how curios she was of me so I had a mini session with her!
